Precautions regarding
the advance ticket

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Please use your ticket within the specified period of validity.
("Any circumstances" include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, poor visibility, ropeway service cancellations due to bad weather, passenger delays caused by transportation or traffic conditions, such passenger-related reasons as illness, natural disasters, and more.)
If you plan to use the ropeway on a specific day or are unsure of the date, please check the official website and purchase your ticket directly at the counter on the day of your visit.
The ropeway service may be suspended for the entire day or have its operating hours changed because of facility or equipment maintenance.

The QR code ticket does not grant you priority boarding.
The QR code ticket does not provide a discount off the regular ticket fare.
If you have a QR code ticket, you can pass through the ticket gate with it. There's no need to exchange it for a physical ticket. During busy hours, long lines of customers often form to board the ropeway.
In such cases, you will need to join the end of the line and follow the staff's instructions to pass through the ticket gate.
Please note that there is no separate line for tickets purchased in advance.

Process of using the
advance digital ticket (Webket)

A round-trip digital ticket for the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway can be pre-purchased using a computer or smartphone.

To purchase a ticket
for one
passenger

Purchase
the digital ticket
through Webket.

After completing the purchase,
the purchaser will receive an email with the digital tickets as QR codes.

To purchase tickets
for multiple
passengers

Purchase
the required number of
digital tickets on Webket.

After completing the purchase,
the purchaser will receive an email with the digital tickets as QR codes.
If multiple tickets are purchased,
the purchaser will receive QR codes for all of them.

If all group members have mobile phones

Share the QR code tickets with group members via email or screenshots so each member has their own ticket.

If any group member does not have a mobile phone

Have the ticket ready using one of the following methods.

Print the received QR code tickets and bring them to the ropeway station on the day of your visit.
After arriving at the ropeway station, exchange the QR code tickets for paper tickets at the ticket vending machine.

In addition to the QR code digital ticket, you can also pre-purchase paper tickets for each member at a convenience store.

You can pre-purchase the ticket using the multi-copy machine at FamilyMart convenience stores across Japan.
If you pre-purchase the ticket at FamilyMart, you do not need to exchange it for another ticket at the ticket vending machine or counter.
You can go directly to the ropeway ticket gate with your purchased ticket and wait in line to board.
